Lainey Quinn came into this world three weeks earlier than expected. Her mama called me just in time for newborn portraits and I was able to fit her in my schedule and photograph Lainey at nine days old. All newborns are ‘tiny’ but Lainey is barely 6 pounds. Don’t let her sweet little face fool you, she already has tons of personality. Most newborns are happy to be all curled up but she kept straightening out her leg as if to say “I was cramped for nine months and now I am going to spread out!” I would have taken her home with me in a heartbeat and after showing my husband these pictures he said he would have let me! Congratulations on your sweet baby girl!
I think she looks like her mama here but with her daddy’s ears.
This chest was her parent’s first wedding anniversary present and the blanket was crocheted by her grandmother.
Such a big yawn for a little girl!
