I met up with this beautiful family over the weekend to document their family of three before they become a family of four. Brody took a little bit to warm up, but by the end of our time together we were good buddies. He is the only toddler that has ever called me Anne Katherine, his mama said they were working on how to say it all week. I wish I could say Brody’s tears at the end of our session were because he didn’t want me to leave. In truth, he didn’t want me leaving with my tricycle that he had become very fond of.

Congratulations on your new little one, I am looking forward to meeting him in May!

I’m working through a baby boom this week in addition to finishing all the Christmas orders, so blog posts will be a little bit delayed. Here’s a little sneak peek just to tide these families over until I come back from Christmas break.

First is an adorable couple who is expecting their first child in January. This beautiful mama is celebrating a very special birthday next week… so Happy Birthday T! I can’t wait to meet your sweet baby boy! Can you tell we had some fun?!

I certainly couldn’t leave out seven-day-old Mya with her adorable chubby cheeks! She was in no hurry to be born, but was certainly worth the wait.

This beautiful mama has been patiently waiting for me to post her sneak peek. She is expecting her third daughter in a few weeks. We met up on a recent afternoon and basked in the warm glow of the afternoon sun. Her oldest daughter came along, and was just as beautiful as her mama, so of course I had to get some portraits of her too.

Amy is expecting her third child in a few months. If you have ever had the pleasure of hearing her sing you would agree that she has the voice of an angel. I can only think of how blessed her babies are to be sung to sleep each night by her heavenly melodies. Jeremiah is an amazing musician and singer himself and together they compliment each other perfectly. When we met up yesterday under a blue sky and by the end of our short session the it was dark gray and thunder was rumbling in the distance. None of that stopped the joy from radiating out of Amy because of the little life growing inside her.

What a beautiful day for an outdoor maternity session. We had rescheduled due to Saturday’s wind and Sunday rewarded us for our patience. Little Abigail is due to arrive in just a couple weeks and I can’t wait to meet her!
