A few of my favorite things

I recently stopped in at Baby Bug & Me Children’s Boutique and decided to do a little feature on a few of my favorite baby things.

There is nothing like a good swaddle to calm a newborn and these ones from Aden & Anais are divine. They are soft and just the right thickness so that your little one will not overheat and large enough that they can also be used as a nursing cover.

Another favorite is the Cloud B Sleep Sheep and the Gentle Giraffe. Both of them make noises that mimic the womb and attach to the crib to help your little one sleep better.

If your little one loves the hospital pacifiers, these WubbaNub’s are a must. One of my clients has one of each kind because her little guy loves them so much.

A little bit of blue and a little bit of pink soft cotton…

And if your little one is big enough to be heading off to school, these lunch boxes and bags are sure to make them happy.

I started noticing a trend with my clients when I would ask where they got their nursery furniture. They all raved about a local family owned furniture store that not only carries the areas finest furniture but also delivers and assembles it! Baby Bug & Me Children’s Boutique now has their spring and summer clothes in stock. I stopped by last week to take a couple pictures, but really you’re going to have to stop in and check it out for yourself. They are located at above the West Shore Farmers Market at 900 Market St in Lemoyne. If you need help choosing and outfit for your child’s upcoming portrait session, I can certainly suggest some of my favorites!

And as always the areas best source of baby and children’s shoes.

My husband’s passion is in aviation and to document his recent birthday we went to Capital City Airport for some portraits. That airport holds a lot of memories for us and we like to stop in occasionally to remember how far we have come. I am a blessed woman to share my life with such an amazing, handsome man!

Baby Bug & Me has moved in their new location to Above the West Shore Farmers Market at 900 Market St Lemoyne, PA 17043. I stopped in earlier this week to see the new location, and it is just fabulous.

The new ’shoe-tique’ is enough of a reason to stop in.

Dress for Success

Yesterday I delivered the proceeds from the Girls Night Out to Ruth, Founder and CEO of Dress for Success. Due to the generosity of the women that attended the Girls Night Out, and some donations that came in after the event, the total donation amount was $375!

Dress for Success is a worthy cause that is helping many women throughout South Central Pennsylvania, and they are always looking for volunteers and donations. It was an honor to be able to help them further their mission.

Thank you to all the women who came to the Girls Night Out. It was wonderful to meet new friends and see some old ones again. Because of your generosity I will be giving Ruth, founder and CEO of Dress for Success a check for $375.

For those that were unable to make it, I put together a video to try to capture the essence of the evening.
